Summertime Orders
Yes...we are open in the summer! For in-store shopping, the MT Room is open every Monday night from 7:00 to 9:00 (please call 905-781-1244 to make an appointment). You can also note the back-to-school hours listed below.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING ABOUT THE ONLINE STORE! Sometime in the middle of August, the MT Room website domain was taken from us (without warning) and you were unable to access the store. The store is now up and running at www.themtroom.ca (it used to be a .com address). Thank you for your patience!
Special Hours
The MT Room is open in the last week of school every June from 11:00 to 1:00 (in addition to its regular hours) to accommodate students who wish to sell back their Grade 12 textbooks. We are also open for the 2 weeks prior to Labour Day so you can shop for gym uniforms, ties and Grade 12 textbooks. Hours are from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in these 2 weeks. In addition, the MT Room is open from 10:00 to 4:00 on the Tuesday (before school starts).
For the first 4 days of school, the MT Room is open from 9-11 and 2-4 each day. Beginning the first official Tuesday of school, regular office hours will commence (Tuesdays from 2:30-4 and Fridays from 8:30-10:00).
Dry Cleaning Available!
The MT Room has partnered with Alpha Quality Cleaners so you can now drop-off and pick-up school blazers, kilts, dress pants, ties and dress shirts for a very reasonable price. The prices below include HST...
Blazers and Kilts: $7.75, Dresspants: $6.75, Ties: $3.25, Dress Shirts: $2.50
For your convenience, you can pay with cash, cheque, VISA, Mastercard or debit cards (debit and credit cards at the Main Campus store location).
Ordering Items from your home or Campus Office
1) Pick up an order form at the school office (or from the door of the MT Room...Room 106 at the Main Campus).
2) Fill out and return the form (along with payment) to the school with your child. The order will be filled and returned to your child via his/her homeroom teacher within a few days.
Ordering Items in Person
You can also visit the MT Room during office hours and pick up your items right away. Office hours from September until June are Tuesdays from 2:30 to 4:00 and Fridays from 8:30 to 10:00.
Ordering Items Online
1) Visit our online store and browse the items. If you are looking for gym clothes, make sure that you are in the correct section of the store (TEAM, Mentor, TSS).
2) Once you have made your selections, a confirmation of your order will be emailed to you and to the MT Room. During this process, you will need to provide your child's name and homeroom teacher for delivery (if you are ordering in the summer, just indicate the grade level and we will get it to the right teacher).
3) If you wish to pay by cash or cheque, put the payment in an envelope and send it with your child (it will be sent to the MT Room via your child's homeroom teacher or campus office). If you wish to pay with debit or credit card, it is preferred that you come in person to the store (credit card payments can be done over the phone during business hours, though). In any case, once payment is received the order will be filled and returned to your child via his/her homeroom teacher within a few days.
